5 Biggest Myths About Koalas

Koalas are an iconic Australian native animal. Sometimes referred to as koala bears, they are in fact not bears at all. There are many myths about koalas and Janine Duffy, koala researcher has debunked the myths.

One myth is that koalas only eat one type of gum tree.  Janine notes however that koalas in the You Yangs just outside Geelong have been recorded eating every one of the 15 species of eucalypt in the park! Read Janine's article here.
